PHILANTHROPY

Adhiambo School

In 2014, Jackson created the Wilton C. Jackson Eagle Award for Adhiambo Elementary School, the Learning Institute for Children, where he attended as a child. He started the award to recognize a student who faces obstacles, challenges and manages to rise above them all in the true fashion of a mighty eagle.

Jim Hill High School

Jackson attended Jim Hill High School, located in Jackson, Mississippi from August 2007 to May 2011. At Jim Hill, Jackson served as a member of several organizations, including the JHS Student Government, the National Honor Society, Beta Club and the Jim Hill Marching Band of Distinction. Jackson also earned several honors, including being named Mr. Senior, being a recipient of the Jim Hill Award, a top-10 scholar and an inductee into the Jim Hill High School Student Hall of Fame.

The University of Southern Mississippi

Jackson dedicated a large portion of his time to Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. Along with a close friend, the two decided to create the Garner-Jackson Annual Phi Eta Sigma Endowed Scholarship. The scholarship was established to promote and encourage high academic achievement, community service, and leadership among high achieving Phi Eta Sigma members at the University of Southern Mississippi.
